I had found the original recipe in a stack of recipes for my nutrition class. Our job as to modify the recipe to make it healthier. So I have done that!

  1. Mix the applesauce, sugar and vanilla together. Add eggs to the mixture – continue to mix. Add dry ingredients to the wet and mix well. Add bananas and sour cream, combine thoroughly. Add chocolate chips – best to fold them inches Pour into a greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 for 1hr or until a tooth pick can be inserted into the center and comes out clean.
