I made this for Christmas 2011. It was a BIG hit. I used dark chocolate,Splenda, and added 1 TBL of corn meal. This is a must to make again and again. Thanks for this wonderful recipe. Happy New Year.

This is the best Chocolate Chess Pie I've ever had! Follow the directions exactly and be careful not to over-mix. I used a frozen pie crust and baked it for half the time called for on the packaging. Be careful not to over bake this pie - I turn the oven off as soon as I can pull the oven rack out without seeing any waves in the center of the pie. Then I leave it in the (off) oven with the door slightly open for about half an hour. This method will ensure it's baked perfectly AND prevent cracking! Great recipe, thanks for sharing Bev!
