This is my favorite chocolate pie recipe! It is so easy to make and fail proof. Impress that witch mother-in-law this Christmas.

If you're looking for a new twist on your old chess pie, you'll be very pleased...but if you're looking for a chocolate fix, you might want to go for a more traditional chocolate pie. I thought it was more chessy than chocolatey, but it was very tasty either way. Shared the rest of the pie with co-workers and it disappeared immediately.

Delicious! My first try with chocolate chess pie(I usually stick with lemon or plain). We enjoyed it. I cheated and used a frozen shell with no complaints.

My DIL requested a chocolate chess pie for Thanksgiving and, since I had all the ingredients for this recipe, it was a done deal! I followed the recipe exactly and baked for 60 mins. The top cracked but didn't impact the taste. Everyone LOVED it and the pie disappeared in a flash too! I'm sure I'll be asked to make this again... just next time, I'll make two!

This was a wonderful chocolate-filled pie! I had never had a chess pie of any kind and I loved this! It was super easy to make using Marie's Easy As Pie No Roll Pie Crust Easy As Pie No Roll Pie Crust. I wasn't sure if the butter was supposed to be softened or melted so I just softened it and mixed it in. Turned out fine, hope that was right! :-) Topping this with fresh sweetened whipped cream is a must, so yummy! I'll definetly be making this whenever I need a chocolate cream pie fix, it's just as good and half the work!

I hate to only give you 3 stars for this Bev but it did not turn out very good for me. I must have done something wrong. I have no idea what it could have been. The pie was good...sort of like a brownie pie but the end results did not look like it should have. The top turned out really dry and crusty. I am sorry.
