Chocolate Body Scrub

"This is a quick and easy body scrub for the ulitmate chocoholic! From the Chocolate Bar cookbook"

 

• Ready In: 10mins
• Ingredients: 3
• Yields: 1 body treatment

ingredients

• 1⁄2 cup turbinado sugar, no substitutions
• 1⁄3 cup cocoa
• 2 tablespoons olive oil

directions

1. Mix ingredients together thoroughly in a glass or plastic bowl.
2. Apply the mixture to moistened skin and scrub with a facecloth or net scrubby.
3. Rinse thoroughly.

I was going to buy a small jar or body scrub the other day for like 20 something bucks, all of the ingrediants were very basic using common pantry ingrediants just like this recipe. So I decided to make my own for cheeper and this recipe was perfect. I added a 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract to give it a nice vanilla scent. This scrub smells and tastes sooooo yummy. It made my skin very soft and silky and surprinsingly washed out of the shower good. For both of my Grandma's upcoming birthdays this June this is what I am going to give them and they are gonna love it. Thanks for the great recipe!!!

This was a lot of fun! Won't go into the details, but it is tasty too! It was a nice way to change up the routine in a 13 year marriage, and it also left our skin satiny smooth! The tub cleaned up easily when we were finished.

What fun and it tastes good too! I knew I just had to make this recipe to take to my valentine surprise for my DH. I rented a jacuzzi, steamroom hotel suite and after the steam I scrubbed and he scrubbed and what a hoot! The shower unit might have been questionable by the chambermaid but it really washes off instantly. Thanks for the experience.
