- 2 large ripe bananas
- 4.92 ml ground cinnamon
- 29.58 ml unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 large raw egg whites
- 113.39 g nonfat milk
- 591.47 ml old fashioned oats
- 78.78 ml Splenda granular
- 14.79 ml olive oil
- 60 g chocolate whey protein powder
directions
- Mix ingredients in a large bowl. Pour into non-stick cake pan. Bake at 300o F for 25 minutes or until firm. Let cool slightly before cutting.
- We have made these into 8 small bars, but you could easily make into 4 larger ones, with double the protein (e.g., 23 g protein per bar).
- If you don’t want the fat replace the oil with unsweetened applesauce. It will taste just as good and still retain the moist but firm texture.

These were amazing! I actually put them into a 11x7 because there was enough batter. I used 1 cup of oats, 1/4 cup wheat germ, 1/2 cup wheat bran, and 3/4 cup whole wheat flour. I also used EAS chocolate whey protein powder. And then I added about 3/4 cup peanut butter morsels which made it really come together and sweet! I'll be making these again as soon as they are all eaten!
