Excellent! I love Chipolte's Guacamole. This taste just like it! Very, very healthy. I could eat it everyday. Really great recipe.
Prepared for My 3 Chefs 2008. Avocado lovers THIS is the guac for you. The other flavors only serve to compliment not overpower the avocados. I prepare guacamole frequently and would not recommend using an electric appliance of any type to mash the avocados. They tend to bruise and not have as bright of a color as fork mashed avocados do. An EXCELLENT guacamole that will be prepared here quite often.
Awesome guacamole! I agree with the other poster though, just mash with a fork for a better look and texture. Other than that, eat up! I can't get enough.
For such a simple recipe, this was delicious! I did not have serrano peppers, so I used jalapeno pepper. This is the only change I made, will use serranos next time, this recipe needs nothing else, perfect as is!
Tried this for the first time last night. Came out AWESOME. The only thing different that I did was used a bit of garlic salt and added a bit of cayenne pepper. The pepper made it taste exactly like Chipotle's. I will make this again. I even served it with a Thai-Mexican dip.
Okay, so this is a little different from the recipe on Chipotle's website... but pretty close. The difference is that the other recipe calls for 2 avocados (I use 2 small and it works great), it also calls for jalapeno instead of serrano (I use a scant 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper and that works great), and it doesn't call for garlic cloves... but I can see that would be a good addition and I'll add it next time! Yum!
It good.....but the chipolte in the guacamole dose not tastes right
