Perfect topping for our fish tacos! Heat is spot on. I used 1 dried chili pepper. I freeze my chipotle peppers individually with some adobe sauce in plastic wrap lined dixie cups-it works great. Besides using this for tacos and dip for tortilla chips...I think you could marinate chicken breasts and possibly some sort of a salad that calls for mayonnaise. Thank you PanNan for a wonderful lunch. Made for Photo Swap #8.

Excellent sauce. I used it as a dip for grilled shrimp. Not too hot but a good spicy flavor. Thanks PanNan.

I had a recipe for a taco salad that called for an "Ortega Green Chile Salsa" mixed with mayonnaise, it was a great dressing for taco salad. Now you can't find that canned salsa. I decided to try this recipe for my taco salad and it was very similar to the one I liked, though a bit more spicy!! Thanks so much for sharing a great recipe. Made for ZWT8.

Excellent sauce. I roasted new mexico peppers, because I couldnt find any guajillo. I also added 1/2 cup more plain yogurt, for the non spicy eating people in my family and it was just right for us. I used this sauce for seafood tacos. Served with mexican rice. Thanks PanNan for a great recipe.

Great! I used 2 c nonfat plain yogurt and left out the mayo and I toasted the guajillo's (4) then just tore them in pieces and threw them in the blender without chopping. Toasting removes the 'raw' taste. This was really easy and yummy. We added this into tacos, dipped quesadillas in it and even just ate it as a dip. Very different and good! Thanks Nan!
