directions

  • puree all ingredients in a blender. pour the marinade into a zip-lock bag. add chicken or pork and marinate 30 minutes in the fridge, occasionally flipping the bag to distribute.

  1. I always make my own ethnic foods, as we normally don't have terrific Mexican here in Louisiana. I think it's confiscated at the border. Made for Spring PAC 2012.
     
  2. We used this marinade on chicken and just loved it! Spicy enough but not overly so - the honey cuts the spice a bit and adds a wonderful flavor. Marinated the chicken for about 4 hours, then grilled and it was so tender and flavorful. Really enjoyed this - thanks for posting your recipe! Made for the Comfort Cafe Event, July 2009
     
  3. This made a nice spicey marinade to go on our grilled pork steaks. I will use this again. I like that when I have the open can of chipotle's this will help to use it up. Thank you for posting Chef LL!
