Chinese Style Spareribs

"This was my Mother's recipe and occasionally she would make them when I was a kid. Very basic but reminds me of a Chinese restaurants. Prep time does not include marinating time."

  • Mix all ingredients together.
  • Add ribs and marinate 24 hours.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes (check for doneness).
  • Serve with white rice.

  2. I was about to post this recipe when I found yours. This was the recipe my mom also used and we always looked forward to her making them. Excellent flavor - really delicious ribs. We never used food coloring, ribs disappear too quickly to notice the color hehe. So glad you posted this!!
     
  3. Very pretty and tasty, I was hoping more for the Chinese restaurant flavor, but this wasn't as soy sauce flavored and sweet theirs, but great non-the less. Served this with recipe#38748
