All of our local Chinese resturants serve this with Mar Far Chicken. Great on chicken strips/nuggets. Adults and kid's love this dip!!
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1⁄2 cup ketchup
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons white vinegar
- 3 tablespoons ground dry mustard (no substitutions!!)
- 1⁄8 teaspoon horseradish
- Combine sugar, vinegar and ground dry mustard; mix well.
- Add mayo, horseradish and ketchup, whip until smooth;
- cover and let set overnight. Enjoy!
Yummmmm, this is a real nice sauce, next time I think that I will put it with prawns and salad like a prawn cocktail, that would confuse the guests as it tastes quite different from the usual one. Made for breast awareness 09
I love this sauce!!! I can see the possibilities, too-I think I will make some more and try adding onion, garlic, relish, celery, parsley, ginger-you get the idea! Instead of sugar, use honey. Instead of horseradish, use wasabi. Otherwise this tastes remarkably like the sauce we have for MarFar chicken in southern Oregon. Delicious!
