Very good, very easy too. I marinated overnight in a heavy zip'lock bag. Did 20 Drumsticks. Almost 4 lbs. and doubled the marinade. I basted twice and also turned them over.I turned on the broiler at the end to crisp the surface. Moist, tender and delicious.

Absolutley fantastic! This recipe was phenominal and also very simple. I made a few minor changes to suit my family's prefferences and turned the marinade into a sauce to be served on the side of the chicken after I was done basting. I used smaller pieces of chicken and it only needed 30 minutes in the oven and came out extremely tender and delicious

Excellent. I was going to do the chicken thighs on the barbecue and I figured that the onion would just fall through the grill so I blitzed all the marinade in the processor so that it would stick to the chicken. In the end, I did it in the oven because it got too dark to cook outside. Very tasty!

Wow, this was great & so easy. I didn't plan ahead, so didn't marinate the chicken for very long. This would have provided more flavour, but we still enjoyed it. I boiled the leftover marinade & added to stirfry veg, then served with steamed rice. Will definitely being having this again. Made for Recipe Swap 6. Thanks Amanda for sharing this lovely recipe.

This was very good! Next time I will try this with a whole chicken and either roast it or grill/smoke it. Thanks for a good recipe.

I quartered a 2.2K chicken and as my pieces were so big extended the cooking time by 1/2 an hour, putting the lid on the dish for the first 1/2 hour. Also I poured all the marinade over and just scooped up the juices with a spoon from the bottom to baste a couple of times during cooking. The taste was just sublime and the smell while cooking was driving us crazy, just making us want to dig in and eat. I used 3 cloves of garlic but had to sub spring onion (scallion) for the onion. A definate keeper, thank you Amanda in Adelaide. Made for Recipe Swap #5 June.

This chicken was amazing!!!!! I followed recipe ingredients, using boneless thighs and breasts. Instead of baking in oven, I grilled on BBQ. The family absolutely loved it. Perfect blend of seasonings!!! Moist and tender...will make this again. thank you for sharing!
