      These are delicious. I wouldn't say they taste like Chili's, but no matter, they are wonderful anyway. The lime taste comes through just enough to give them a fresh, authentic Mexican taste. Processed fajita seasoning packets are good, but making them homemade is so much better - and much less salty. I made Lime Crema for Chili, Tacos, Fajitas and More to have with our fajitas and it was a great addition.

      Yep-this is it! Todd Wilbur's exact recipe for Chili's Fajitas. We've made these several times, so the page of my cookbook is pretty stained. Summer & fajitas are the perfect combo, and this recipe is the best I've come across. Also included in the book is the recipe for Chili's pico de gallo, which is a must when we prepare these. It is 2 medium tomatoes, diced, 1/2 cup diced Spanish onion, 2 teaspoons chopped fresh jalapeno pepper, and 2 teaspoons finely minced fresh cilantro. Simple, yet so delicious. There is one other recipe on here for these with great reviews, but it appears to be missing the 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder and 3 teaspoons of vinegar in the marinade. If you love fajitas, do try these--you won't be disappointed!!!
