husband wanted chili cheese dogs yesterday and I told him I didn't have a recipe - he said uh look at zaar - well lo and behold I find a 5 star recipe by none other than Kittencal and I knew it would be good! Made it exactly as your instructions read and it was delicious!!! thanks for sharing - loved it!
I just made this - followed the recipe so I'd have a bunch to freeze. I'm taking it camping with us this weekend. Can't wait to try it...it smells amazing!
We split the recipe into 3rds, but followed it exactly. I wouldn't change a thing. Thank you again for posting another wonderful Recipe Kittencal!
I tried this today! It is Great. I halfed it so there is enough left (only 2 people)that we can freeze. Tried recipe as is! Thank you for sharing!
DH loves cheese fries so I followed Kittencal's suggestion and topped crinkle cut fries with this chili sauce. I used about 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper and omitted the tabasco sauce for our taste. I did freeze some for the next time we have hot dogs on the grill which I hope will be soon as this was a great chili sauce! Topped my chili fries with a sprinkle of green onions, loved it!
This was great! My BF picked this out. We used vegetarian crumbles and served it like a sloppy joe. Not sure why one would serve this over more meat, but whatever rocks your boat I guess! We actually used seasoned Italian breadcrumbs as it was what we had, and added lots of extra tabasco. I served leftovers on top of a potato/lentil casserole that I wasn't overly thrilled with and improved it immeasurably. Thanks Kitten!
Another great recipe! We loved this on super sized grilled hot dogs with grated cheese. I made this the night before as suggested and was even better the next day. The bread crumbs made this nice and thick, and I used more than 1-1/2 tablespoons of chili powder. I will for sure be making this on a regular basis at my house, thanks!
