I ran out of chili powder and went to look for a substitute -- never knew it was a blend of spices -- duh -- anyway this is what i found at about.com -- slightly different then some of the others i have seen here -- which i found after the fact
- combine well and store in air tight container.
Not quite the same as the commercial one I use but still tasty and good to keep on hand for emergencies. I mixed as written and used in Tisme's Chili Con Carne #235220. Thanks for the post.
