Chili Mac for the Crock Pot!

"I LOVE this healthy, tasty recipe! You can make changes to suit your family's tastes. As stated, it's slightly spicy. You can tone that down by using regular diced tomatoes and regular chili beans. I like to serve my macaroni in each bowl, rather than mixing in the pot. Freezes beautifully! Eating this makes me feel like I'm really splurging while still eating great!"

  1. This was good and easy to make. I followed the recipe as written other then I only had a pound of ground beef and I used diced tomatoes instead of the rotel as I don't like things too spicy. We liked it better mixing the macaroni in with the rest of the mixture. We thought it tasted a bit bland not mixed together. I mixed it together and let it sit for about an hour and then reheated and we liked it better like that. I could have been more "saucy" for me as the macaroni soaked up most of the sauce.

I love to try new recipes and often try so many new recipes that I forget about all the great ones I've already made. My focus in cooking is to cook healthy and lower in fat without compromising the taste of the food.
