If you are going to add a can of store bought chili, then make this ? Why not just enough cans ?
I've been making this for years and just never got around to reviewing it. It is wonderful! I make no changes except for using a larger can of Hormel - only because I can never find the lunchbox size. The leftovers freeze well, too. Thanks, Deely, for the great recipe!
I made this for our Memorial Day cookout at the beach. It was a huge hit!! The only thing I did differently was to lower the salt to 1/4 tsp. Thanks for a new Family Keeper, Deely!!
Very good. Just the perfect chili for a hot dog topper. I added a bit more red pepper flakes and some cayenne because I like a little spice. I also couldn't find the 7 3/8 oz lunchbox size of chili so I just used a 10 oz can. Worked out great. Thanks for posting.
Really Good!!!...Had it for the 4th of July!!!... 1/2 garlic salt is plenty...a little too salty with the addition of 1 tsp salt too...
I really liked this, it was even better after a couple days. Thanks for the recipe,it's a keeper !!!
Well....hubby and I will join you in our RV to help sell this sauce. We loved it!!! This will be great for our next big party as it can be doubled, tripled or whatever. Easy to put together and can be made ahead of time and then just reheat. Great combination of herbs/spices. Thanks so much for sharing, Deely.
