1 of my target foods on our recent trip to the US was a chili-cheese dog. Iceland has great hot dogs, but chili is not a favored add-on. I know I can make my own, but I admit to laziness if just a chili dog is at stake. I was hooked when I saw this recipe. I indulged my creativity again, but am happy to say I managed to stay 100% true to your recipe. I used pita pockets for the crust, split 2 pitas into 4 halves & made open-face mini pizzas for DH & I to share. They were so tasty! Love this recipe! Thx for sharing it w/us.
