  1. I found this on allrecipes years ago and have been making it for that long as well. My kids love this and I love how easy it is to make. I usually only use 2 cans of chili and find that is enough for our tastes. It covers the entire dish and so there is plenty of chili. I encourage everyone to try this delicious dish; if you like chili dogs, you'll surely like this. My kids don't like original chili dogs but they do like this, so go figure. :)

  2. I tried this with a little trepidation (my husband was worried as well), but for no reason. We really enjoyed this dish. Since I also don't care for the thick bread of regular buns and end up throwing half away, I thought the tortillas were just the right amount of "bread" for me. We will definitely be making this again.

  3. I originally rated this with 4 stars, but am updating it to 5 because I have made it a number of times since, and every person who I've served it to has loved it. When I was served this at a friend's house, I expected to just take a few bites to be polite since I don't particularly like hot dogs or canned chili. I was quite surprsied to find I liked it very much, enough so to ask for the recipe. I think it might have been the tortillas that made the difference because surprisingly both the taste and texture of them came though and seemed to blend the flavors and mellow out the flavor of the dish. My freind used turkey hot dogs, and also added chopped onion, as did another review. With the little bit of sour cream we topped it with, it became quite an ejoyable meal, tasty, very easy to prepare and very economical.

  4. Came across this recipe on another web site. And since I had all the ingredients I thought I would give it a try. Really good! I sprinkled some chopped raw onion over mine after the casserole was done and the flavor is every bit as good as a good old chili dog (which I love). This has the advantage of being a take along casserole for a pot luck or church dinner.
