Thanks! This is the best Chili recipe I have ever tried. I cooked it for a group of lads that like their foor spicy and it went down a treat. In fact the Chili got more comments than the footy match it really was that good. Thanks again.

Took a little time preparing the chilies but oh so worth while. The Chili Colorado was fabulous. I have made it for my son's branding this weekend.I always do the cooking and Chili Colorado is one of the always make dishes. I feel I have just made the best one ever, We will see what all the cowboys and cowgirls think. Thank you. Betty Edwards

I had to try this recipe mostly because the chef insisted not to add beans! Wow Di, it was fantastic! All the different flavors of the chile's really make this dish. Also not so high in carb's which we are watching. I wish I could give it more stars! It was truely wonderful. One suggestion though.....I think you should change the name to Chili Texas. :0)

This was fabulous. I made this for our Cinco party. I made exactly as posted except - I used half the beef broth as I wanted to serve on flour tortillas. I used canned chipotle and I simmered this in a dutch oven on the stove instead of the crock. It was a bit thin for tortillas, so I just scooped out several ladles of broth and simmered chicken in it and then shredded so we had 2 dishes, LOL. The flavor is simply out of this world. This is a keeper, will definitely make again. Thanks for the recipe.

I received rave reviews over this dish! I only use a little bit of the beef broth to keep the consistency thicker and I also did not use bacon. This went fantastic with tortilla shells

This turned out very well - flavorful and delicious. The only problem I had was that it was much too runny. I'll only use 1 cup of beef broth next time. Thanks for the great recipe!

I think next time I'll leave out the beef broth--made it too runny. Also, it could have used a few more arbol chiles to turn up the heat. Onion should be shredded.

It was Purim, a Jewish holiday where the booze flows freely. I thought Mexican would be a good way to go, and told Sushiman I would make some chili. "Fine," he said, "just no beans!" This was the perfect recipe for me. I left out the bacon, and instead of using all the different kinds of chilis, which aren't available here in any case, I just used lots and lots of Moroccan chiles. Whirling the chilies with the water in the food processor is a great idea! There was lots of liquid left in the crock after serving the chile, and Sushiman made some great gravy out of that for mashed potatoes. A great recipes, goes wonderfully with lots and lots of beer and rich red wine.
