This is something that one of my mother's friends served us once. Lately there has been a 'Homebakes' version available in the store. But why buy a boxed meal when it is this easy? And of course you can use any chili that you like.
Directions See How It's Made
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Prepare rice in water.
- While rice is cooking, pour chili into an 8 x 8-inch baking dish.
- Prepare cornbread as per box instructions.
- Pour mix over chili.
- Bake until cornbread is browned and a toothpick comes out clean from the middle.
- Serve over rice.
