Nice thick chili, made possible by pureeing most of the kidney beans with some tomatoes.

We do love our chili with lots of kidney beans in it, so, although I did pretty much follow your recipe, I added another 2 cans of those beans, & we were entirely satisfied with the resulting chili! Didn't change the amounts of the spices or anything else, other than the beans! Two very happy people eating your chili here! Many thanks for sharing the recipe!   1. Fry onion with beef until cooked.
  2. Add 1/2 the can of kidney beans; puree the rest (after draining the liquid) with 1/2 the can of tomatoes.
  3. Add puree and remaining tomatoes to the beef.
  4. Stir in tomato sauce and spices.
  5. Bring mixture to a boil and simmer for 1 hour.
