This is from Simply Vegan. Serve over pasta. Spinach pasta would be especially pretty.
- 1 (19 ounce) can chickpeas, drained
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon dried basil
- salt and pepper
- Simmer ingredients over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- When hot, toss with cooked pasta.
