  1. Wonderful, easy, delicious! Made the recipe exactly as written and we loved it!

  2. Evelyn, this is delicious AND easy! I love capers so added a bit more. Nice, kinda Italian flavor. I'll make some next time I do an antipasto spread, this would go with it so well!

  3. A little too much oil for me, but a good choice for a vegan potluck. thanks! bet it would be good with feta (barring the vegans...)

  4. Delicious and sooooo easy. I didn't have time to run out and buy fresh mint, so I used about 4 heaping teaspoons of dried mint, and that worked out really well. I thought it would miss salt, but it was great just as is. Many thanks!

  5. I didn't waste time to let it 'marry'. I had to gobble up some of it right away. It's delicious. I'm on a caper kick right now.. so I doubled the capers and halved the chickpeas. I only used 2 tablespoons of oil, too. That was plenty for me. I can't wait to taste it tomorrow.

I moved out here many, many years ago from Ottawa, Canada - so I am blessed in having two wonderful heritages! I suffer from compulsive obsessive behaviour with regard to food and my psychiatrist thought it would be a good idea to find a 'society' where many have the same problem and try to find a cure. So far, I've copied a couple of thousand recipes from this site and my psychiatrist has thrown the towel in and refuses to answer the phone when I call. What did I do wrong? Got 3 kids that keep me on the go - 10 and under at this point (2008) - I may not get round to updating this for a few years, so you'll have to do your own maths. I teach English full-time and Greek Cookery part-time. I would like to make the cooking part of it full-time and the English Grammar part of it part-time. That's all for now.
