OH. MY. GOSH. Seriously, this was way too amazing. I ended up adding four cloves of garlic and probably just a little over a tablespoon of mustard but it was AWESOME!! Served over wax beans, white rice, broccoli and chicken. I also added some pepper and just a smidge of salt to the sauce. The best part about this is how versatile the sauce is. Thanks!! Total keeper!!
This was amazing. I scaled it down to only one serving and thought there was a lot of sauce, but I did manage to eat it all and then wished there was more! I used granulated garlic and added some parmesan to the sauce. Served it with cooked broccoli that was good with it as well. This is a super tasting recipe and one I am looking forwards to making my son. I did forget the parsley, but don't think that was too big of a deal.
Delicious filling meal, and one we will have on a regular basis we love it so much!
Right off the bat, I need to admit that I made a last minute substitution; Philly has a cooking cream now, and I used that in place of the thickened cream and chicken stock. (I did not know I was out of heavy cream until after I started the dish...) I followed the rest as directed, and was rewarded with a lovely, quick, and tasty chicken dinner. One dish meals are perfect for weeknights, and this can be made soooo quickly. :) Thanks so much for sharing, **Mandy**!
WONDERFUL! so easy and simple, but tastes like heaven! :) I did thicken my sauce with cornstarch and water as we like a thicker gravy, turned out perfect and will be repeated often in my house!
Am always looking for new ideas for chicken - this made for a lovely weekend meal back in February. For the thickened cream went with whipping cream and for me thickened up nicely and was so worth the splurge. The chopped parsley a nice touch - great for both taste and presentation. Made for the Auz/NZ February Swap.
I used two chicken breast but the full amount of sauce and added an extra clove of garlic. The chicken breast looked lonely cooking in the pan so I added some sliced mushrooms. The sauce was a little thin but so very yummy. We enjoyed this recipe alot. Made for Zaar Stars Tag
I guess I have to go against the crowd. We didn't like it, and the chicken was a little dry. The sauce couldv'e been good, but was too thin (and I didn't use my good sense to thicken it). We prefer chicken lazone, which has a richer flavor. Thanks anyways.
Yum Yum Yummy very good sauce! I doubled the chicken stock used 6 cloves of garlic 2 cups of cream, two tablespoons corn starch in ¼ c water and a cup of white wine. Everything else I kept the same. I will be making this often trying it on other things like fish, shrimp and vegetables you name it. Thank you for posting
