      This is one of my all time favorite dishes. It MUST be served with mashed potatoes and I prefer sliced onions to the pearl onions. Wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

      This was great, lovely flavours. Only change I made was to use fresh chopped onion. I used this recipe as a pie filling and it got the thumbs up from the entire family.

      the flavor was okay but the appearance of the chicken was almost like it was boiled with the skin on.I browned it first but after hours in the crockpot it was no longer browned . Very unappealing look to it. Even the crisp bacon became limp and fatty in the crockpot. Would not repeat this meal

      Made this before and forgot to save it. It was so good that I just spent an hour searching again. I don't have frozen onions so I just use fresh. I much prefer with white wine. Delicious with mashed potatoes.

      DELICIOUS RECIPE! I USED 1/2 DOZEN DRUMSTICKS AND 4 SPLIT BREASTS...I HAVE USED WHITE OR RED WINE...BOTH ARE VERY GOOD.
