This soup is amazing! I was a little worried because I didn't rinse the blackbeans (which I would really recommend) and it had a blackish color. I added salsa to mine at the table, and my hubby added sour cream. Its a great "top your own" soup, and the flavors are complex and wonderful!

WONDERFUL! I cut this in half since it is just me, but I added a small onion and half of a green bell pepper since I had it. The flaver is a bit spicy but not bad- The only draw back is I wish I had a piece of crusty bread to dip in the soup. YUM!

Great tasting and so easy to make. I added a bit a cumin for extra flavor. I didn't have tomatoes with chilies so I just used a plain can of tomatoes. Will be making this often.
This was delicious! I'm still surprised because it was so easy. I didn't have tortillas, so I served it with English muffins for an odd British-Mexican twist that I wouldn't exactly recommend. Thanks for posting!
lik2fish, thank you so much for posting this unique soup! Very quick to make, and even the kids loved it. We sprinkled the top with chedder cheese, because, well, because we love cheese. We will be making this again very soon!
