Oh, so enjoyable!! I used tomato passata instead of tomato sauce as that's what I happened to have on hand; 300 g of chicken, which was plenty indeed, and probably double the avocado called for. It was still not bad calorie-wise, and simply immensly delicious! Will definitely go into the rotation - thank you so much for sharing!
SO incredibly delicious in addition to being healthy!!! This is a meal in our house at least a couple of times a month. Thanks so much for sharing!!!
This was delicious! I added some diced red bell peppers and celery to give it a few more veggies and loved it! It was just as good as some of the mexican restaurants' soup. Thanks for sharing! We will be having this again for sure.
My whole family really enjoyed this soup. It was easy to prepare and the fact that it is low fat is a big bonus. I baked all 3 tortillas and then put 2 of them in the blender with the soup. I hope that is what I was supposed to do. But, if not, it tasted great that way.
Mmmmm! It turned out so well! Great recipe. I even prefer it over the full-fat recipes I've made. Thanks for sharing!
This is very, very tasty for being low-cal,low-fat! I can't believe that no one has reviewed it yet! I made a double batch of this today- grilled some chicken tenders and cut them into bite-sized strips and used about 1/2-3/4 cup chopped cilantro( I love the stuff:) ),and added a 28 oz. can of diced tomatoes to the soup too.I also added the grilled chicken strips to the soup and simmered it all for about an hour.I'm glad I doubled this recipe cuz now we won't be fighting for the rest of the soup tomorrow! Thanks,Jeanette, for a winner!
