This was handed down to me by my mother, as are many recipes. The recipes are ultra-easy to put together, and the taste is reminiscent of a teriyaki sauce. As kids, we used to gobble this up!

Ingredients Nutrition

  1. Mix soup mix with ketchup.
  2. Mix water with brown sugar to dissolve.
  3. Mix 2 mixtures together.
  4. Put thighs in greased casserole dish and then pour mixture over thighs.
  5. Bake covered at 350 F for 2 hours.

This dish exceeded my expectations completely! The flavor (smooth teriakyi) was much better than I expected and my family really enjoyed it. I halved the recipe because I didn't want alot of leftovers but now I wish I had made the full amount. Highly recommended! Oh, the only thing I did different was make my own onion soup mix posted on Zaar to limit the salt found in traditional Lipton soup packets. Thank you for sharing David!

Excellent! I doubled this recipe as I used thighs and drumsticks. I had to give it five stars because my picky five year old ate it up. I will surely be making this again and again. Thanks!

In the now famous words of Randy Jackson "it was just alright for me".
