- all-purpose flour
- 1814.36 g chicken, cut into pieces
- 118.29 ml oil
- 118.29 ml onion, chopped
- 709.77 ml canned tomatoes
- 236.59 ml water (or more, to desired thickness)
- 22.18 ml salt
- 14.79 ml Worcestershire sauce
- 1.23 ml cayenne pepper
- 9.85 ml sugar
- 709.77 ml whole kernel corn
- 709.77 ml lima beans

- Flour the chicken.
- In a large stock pot, brown the chicken in oil.
- Add the onions and cook until clear, stirring occasionally.
- Add the tomatoes, water and seasonings.
- Cover and simmer until the chicken is almost tender.
- Take out the chicken and remove the bones and skin. Leave the chicken meat in fairly large pieces.
- Return the chicken to the stew and add the corn and lima beans.
- Continue cooking until vegetables are tender.
- Serve hot.
