Wow, what a fantastic and simple dish. I made a few changes, just to use up things I already had in the pantry. I used raisons instead of the dates, and substituted pine nuts for the almonds. I also followed the recommendations for freezing and it was still delicious! I'm actually making another batch right now, at my husband's most fervent request.

Today was my birthday and I was looking for a great festive entree. This was it!! No changes except hard to get fresh coriander here, so used a bit of fresh tarragon and basil mix. Still great! Wonderful taste with the fresh honey at the end and on basmati rice. Thank you for a different and lovely dish!
