EXCECELLENT. I used about 2 pounds of ground beef and a large and small can of tomato sauce. I used 2 cans of (drained) black beans and doubled the cheese (could use even more). Really good and easy. Kids loved it. This one is a keeper for sure.
We thought this was good, but I would highly recomend using the optional toppings. I thought it could use fresh chopped onions and or bell peppers on top.
Was unbelievable! I made it when I was 36 weeks pregnant to freeze for afer having the baby. Was so easy to make and then after I had the baby we had it and my husband couldn't get enough! I have already recommened to lots of friends.
My family really enjoyed this meal. It is so simple but has great flavor. We did not do any of the optional toppings and we still enjoyed it.
This was good and easy to make. I followed the ingredients but not the instructions as to how to make it. I had rice, cooked chicken and refried beans in my freezer. I thawed all of them and combined all in the pan. For the taco seasoning I used Homemade Taco Seasoning Packet Replacement and I had used my homemade refried beans. After mixing all the ingredients, I topped with cheddar cheese which I didn't measure. I cooked mine for 20 minutes at 350. We all enjoyed this. I will have to try using the OAMC directions in the future.
I made this one for the freezer. We enjoyed it in the weeks after our baby was born. Leftovers were perfect for a burrito the next day. Thanks!

I finally made this last night after having it in my cookbook for months. Made one basic change: I used 2 cans of black beans, drained, instead of the refried beans and use brown rice. We really liked it alot and will keep it in the rotation for a future quick meal. Thanks for sharing!!
We all loved this! It is great because you can change it to fit what you have on hand. I have also done it with ground beef, which is very good. My two year old eats it with a spoon while my husband dips tortilla chips in it.
I made this a month ago and froze two meals - just had a chance to defrost and bake. Wow! This is great! My husband topped his with Salsa and I topped my with hot sauce. Perfect! I have another one frozen and can't wait to eat that one, too! I made it exactly as the recipe is written.
