I thought this was delicious! However I changed a few things.
When frying the chicken I fried onion with it to give more flavor and then only added broccoli and cauliflower and it tasted delicious!
Next time when making this I will use a little bit more sauce cuz I found it needed a little more ;) But key point is I will be making this again, Great recipe!
An excellent well-written basic stir-fry recipe. It was a little bland for our tastes; we quadrupled the garlic and I would like to add an equal amount of minced fresh ginger next time. I thought about using less oil, but I am glad I didn't; it was needed.
Finally, a chinese food recipe that I can make! I have been trying and trying to make decent chinese and this recipe is golden. It could use a little more kick, maybe a little red pepper or something. Next time I'll add more garlic and ginger, but the chicken was fantastic, the veggies were too. I used noodles instead of rice. All in all a total winner! I would order this.
Yummy! This recipe has a lot of potential! I tweaked it abit, and it turned out wonderful! I did all the instructions, but I added more garlic in with the chicken and added garlic while frying up the veggies. Also when the veggies were cookin I added a bit of apple juice and a little bit of duck sauce and also dashed some cumin to taste. It was WONDERFUL and tastes like my mom's recipe! My husband RAVED about it- and he is a very picky eater! (: YUMMY! Will make at least every 2 weeks!
Really tasty recipe. Will definitely become a regular meal. Thank you.
Lovely flavourful sir fry! I added a few more veggies, mushrooms and some cole slaw mix and a goodly amount of pepper for a little kick. Just made half a recipe for the two of us; used just one large half breast, and served it over brown rice cooked in chicken broth. I may have let it thicken too much, I had to add about a quarter cup more of chicken broth near the end to get the right thickness. Very tasty, easy supper, thanks for posting.
Very good recipe. The chicken ended up with a light crispy coating, so I served it on the side and did not mix it with the veggies. My family loved it.
Excellent, healthy stir-fry recipe! Very easy to make; the only slightly difficult part is making sure not to overcook the chicken.(Since it's marinated with soy sauce, chicken turns a dark color, so it's hard to tell when cooked thoroughly.) I added a bit of ginger and another clove of garlic for some extra kick. Very good!
My family loved it, easy and fast. I served it over rice with frozen eggrolls. I have passed this recipe around to friends and they have all enjoyed it.
