This salad is good with or without the bread. I made it ahead of time to blend the flavors...from an ancient Taste of Home magazine
- In a bowl combine first 8 ingredients. Serve on bread. (Also good in sliced pita pockets).
This a really delicious and flavorful chicken salad. The addition of the hard-boiled eggs gave a nice richness of flavor, but not overly so due to the chopping up the whites as well, and the dry mustard gave a subtle tangy taste to the salad. I added half of a minced shallot, but other than that followed the recipe just as written. This is a wonderful chicken salad, one I'll be making again.
