Really a good chicken salad. 1st time made as recipe but then I had another chicken salad at a tea room, very close to this except had curry powder and grapes in it. So made this 2nd time without the pickle relish and eggs but added halved red grapes and some curry powder. It was so good that way also. My daughter said she had a curry chicken salad and it had cashews in it for crunch, going to add those next time I make this. It is good to have around for just a light snack in the afternoon with crackers even.
This is definately going to be my staple recipe for chicken salad!! My kids loved this!!! I think next time I will try adding a chopped apple or some grapes. Thanks for a great recipe!!
we liked this, I couldn't taste the lemon pepper so I added a lot more than called for. I also added dill it was to sweet due to the relish. Thanks for you help we will make again. Made again but adjusted the recipe for 3 people since I wanted to use 2cups chicken, did 2 instead of 3tbs relish and 3/4 tsp lemon juice and just guessed on crushed pepper since I was out of lemon pepper it was perfect! Thanks!
This was great. I added poppy seeds because I tried a chicken salad a long time ago that had them added. My daughter also loved it.
I loved this chicken salad and very quick to make. I used shallots and liked the taste better than white onions.
Great chicken salad! I really liked the lemon pepper seasoning; don't skip it! I opted to use the mayonnaise instead of Miracle Whip. Thanx for a wonderful chicken salad.
I made this with shredded/chunked turkey breast, left out the eggs, and added dried cranberries. Perfection on a croissant!
Wonderful chicken salad. I bought a "end of the night" marked down roast chicken at the grocery store. I left out the eggs, and used half mayo & half salad dressing. Couldn't have been easier. Will make again.
Great Recipe! I like to add pecans and grapes.
I loved this recipe and Im very picky about my chicken salad! I doubled the recipe using some chicken breasts I roasted in the oven, opted for seasoned salt, added a tbsp of lemon juice and added 2 heaping tbsp of sour cream and 1 tsp of prepared mustard in addition to the 1/2c of mayo for the doubled recipe as I felt it was a tad dry and needed a tiny bit of zip. Served on homemade wheat bread and everyone loved it! Thanks for a great recipe!
