Usually a mayo salad person, I decided to try this for a light dinner. GREAT SALAD this is. Though the lids picked out some of the olives, we all enjoyed this. Something different, that I will save for the future. Definately a great variety of flavors. Made for Zaar Stars.
The salty olives go together perfectly with the sweet raisins for a unique chicken salad. We served this on soft whole wheat tortillas tonight with a side of muskmelon for a light dinner. I enjoyed that this did not contain mayo, plus it goes together quickly!
This is a great chicken salad recipe. We substituted leftover turkey, and it worked out wonderful. The only change we would make is to leave out the olives next time. Thanks for posting. :)
My first bite tasted a little strange...I am so used to mayonnaise based chicken salads! But after eating the second bite I found that I really enjoyed the mix of tastes. The only thing I might do a little differently is to add another 1/2 a cup of chicken. But I may have to rethink that....the vegetables and raisins with the dressing are wonderful by themselves! Made this recipe for PRMR Tag!
Great recipe here, man! Perfect combo of salty and sweet. Like the hint of garlic. I added some lemon pepper, used seasoning salt and topped with pine nuts. Will definitely make again. Made for Bevy Tag, Beat the Heat!
Great combination of flavors, with a couple amount changes we really enjoyed this salad, thanks for sharing Syd!...Kitten:)
Made this for lunch today and it was a delicious salad. The instruction made the salad very easy to put together. I did one mistake in this recipe I used brown scallions forgetting that scallions are our (Australia) version of spring onions. However the onions (green or brown) didn't change the fact the salad was very yummy. Thank you Sydney Mike
