What a great recipe. My whole family enjoyed it. I never have store bought pie crusts, so I made my own and it was delicious. Hubby can't wait for left over roast beef, for a roast beef potpie. Definitely a keeper recipe.

Wow! Super Good. I made this tonight for my husband and 2 boys and they ate the entire thing. I'm on a diet and had a salad thank goodness (or there wouldn't have been enough) This is a keeper for sure. Thanks Charmie777

I'm new to food.com and this is the first recipe I've tried. It's excellent, tastes exactly as I imagined it would, and was easy to prepare.

I'd just like to add that the filling is just as good piled inside a volcano of mashed potatoes - I used our house favorite - cheddar garlic . . .

This is actually really good! I like that there is no cream of soups in it. I did add some extra seasonings. We have also tried it using a crescent topping and it came out great! Thanks!

This was pretty good! I love 2 crust pot pie. I usually follow a similar recipe, except that I use cream of chicken soup instead of making the filling as you have here. This time I tried yours, and even with the addition of 2 minced garlic cloves to the milk and broth as it thickened up, I found it to be a bit bland. I will probably either add more seasonings next time, or go back to the creamed soup. But thanks for the great base recipe!
