  1. YUM! I came across a super-sized bag of forgotten breaded chicken tenders in my freezer .. the package had this recipe written ALL OVER IT! [not literally ;o) ] I used a jar of store-brand 3-cheese pasta sauce as well as "pizza blend" and "italian blend" shredded cheese. In addition to the Italian seasoning, I sprinkled a bit of Mrs. Dash's Tomato/Basil/Garlic and Onion and Herb. I stuck it under the broiler for the last handful of minutes and served with garlicky buttered pasta. I'll be out to the store for rolls to make faux chicken-parm sandwiches with the leftovers! Thanks for such an easy, no-brainer delish dish!

  2. I thought this was pretty plain and found the consistency mushy. I would not make this again. It didn't taste bad, but it was not to my liking.

  3. I make "real" chicken parmigiana regularly and am happy with my recipe - but you really can't beat this for a quick, easy meal. This is something the kids can throw together that actually tastes delicious! My son likes to use 2 cans of sauce so he can serve this over spaghetti - cheap, filling and yummy, perfect for potlucks or a houseful of teenagers. Thanks for sharing! Update: We've found that battered chicken, instead of breaded, is how we prefer this dish. We also like to add an extra can of sauce and serve with spaghetti. Still making this on a regular basis!

  4. I gave this 4 stars. My family liked this dish. We served this like chicken parmesan over spaghetti. I did layer my casserole a little different. I first used a 13x9-inch baking pan as that's the biggest I have near a 11-inch. I layered my chicken nuggets (used Tyson), poured some spaghetti sauce over top (I used a 26oz can of Tops plain sauce), then sprinkled 1/2 cup parmesan on top as I thought it just needed more parmesan, then topped with remaining sauce, sprinkled with mozzarella and sprinkled with the italian seasoning. I baked this casserole for 25 minutes which seemed to be plenty of time. Overall I think I will make this again for sure. Thanks for posting christine

  5. So Easy and suprisingly good! It tasted kinda like chicken parmesan! At the end I put it under the broiler until the cheese on top started bubbling.
