Instead of adding milk try cream of chicken
Thank you for sharing. I did not use bouillon cubes and my son hates onion, so I used onion powder and added about a teaspoon of salt and a little pepper. I added several cloves of garlic also. I doubled the recipe. FYI this tastes even better the next day.

yes I Made this chicken noodle ( this recipe x3 ) a couple of nights ago, I have a large Family & it was Great! my Family & Friends enjoyed it! All Gone! :) Tastey :p ! I will B making it again this Winter ! :)
I wish I had added the seasoning slowly to taste. The thyme and poultry seasoning were overpowering for my taste.
It smelled bad from the moment I added the thyme and the chicken broth. Tasted it and it was a mess. I am very disappointed because usually when I see a recipe on here is good but this from the smell told me it wasn't going to be what I thought it would be. Maybe I'll keep to my original recipe - this one seem simple so I thought how bad can it be. Yeah, about that!
I love soups, I love veggies, and I love lots of flavor. Upon taste testing I found that there was entirely too much thyme for my picky husband. In order to tone the thyme strength down a bit I did add additional chicken powder, season, and broth. Had to use elbow noodles because I cannot find egg noodles. My 12 y/o and PICKY husband ate all of their soup! (husband has been known to toss dinner in the garbage) I find that the longer the soup sits, the pasta soaks up all the liquid. No problem. I have more broth and seasonings to re-heat this soup for lunch tomorrow. Thank you for this recipe.
What more can I say that hasn't already been said? DH has a cold and he still managed to eat two bowls! thanks.
