I used to work at a deli in Westlock, Alberta, Canada. This sandwich was one of the most popular on the menu.
- 1 plain croissant, cut in half
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1⁄4-1⁄2 cup chopped cooked chicken breast
- 2 slices cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper
- Cut croissant in half and spread mayonnaise on both sides (use more is desired).
- Place chicken on one side of the croissant, sprinkle with salt and pepper. Top with cheddar slices and serve.
Simple, easy and delicious. I made this for lunch Saturday while I was "slaving" away cleaning house! Thanks ShirlGirl for this recipe!
