Great recipe, very easy to follow, as it was my first attempt! To give a spanish twist I added chorizo and pancetta which worked really well together. Very tasty indeed, will definatley use this recipe again!

very tasty risotto. my family loved it... we added some bacon peices.. thank you for a great recipe, Easy to cook this was my second attempt at a risotto recipe. Turned out restaurant qualiity...

Of all the recipes for risotto, this has proved the best by far. Very comprehensive and the method can be adapted for other flavors such as spinach and tomato (great with lamb cutlets). A bit time intensive but well worth it!

I wanted to try this out because I had risotto at a Italian restaurant. I would say this was good, but I don't think I like it enough to make it again. It's not restaurant-quality but then I just recently started to cook lol, so I don't know. I am glad I skipped the cream cause this dish is already very creamy as it is. This dish kinda tasted like alfredo pasta because of the parmesan.

METRIC MEASURES IN GRAMMES please!!! The recipe is fabulous except it took me so long to find the non-US measurements :-( I did click on the 'metric' button, but it just gives liquid measures (ml) for dry ingredients- pointless! So, if this helps anyone else here we go with metric conversions for the dry ingredients: Mushrooms,sliced=190g (2 1/2 cups); arborio rice= 330g (1 1/2 cups); parmesan grated = 100g (1 cup)

This turned out really good. I added bacon as per other reviews. Very rich in fflavour. Not excellent but very good and would make again. I skipped the cream.
