- 6 large potatoes, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans low sodium chicken broth
- garlic powder (optional)

- Recipe can be halved.
- Combine ingredients in large saucepan.
- Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer about 10 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
- Drain, reserving broth.
- Add garlic powder, if you want, and then mash potatoes with as much broth as you like until you attain desired consistency.
