  1. fry bacon until crisp remove.
  2. brown livers in bacon grease and butter
  3. remove
  4. brown mushrooms and onions next
  5. stir 1/2 and 1/2 and stock and cornstarch and basil together add to mushrooms stir cook until thick add in livers
  6. cook until livers are warmed and bubbly
  7. serve over muffins and top with crumbled bacon.
