Luby, I give this 5 stars! Thanks for posting this recipe. Very similar, if not exactly like Brennan's also in Memphis, Tn.

Made your chicken recipe for dinner tonight, hubby and son enjoyed it very much. Only comment they made was that it could use a little more "heat," next time I'll add a bit of cayenne to the mix. Thanks for posting such a quick and delicious chicken dish.

We enjoyed this recipe very much. It was not too hot, but had a slight kick of flavor that made it very enjoyable. We ate it over rice this first time - but think I will eat just the chicken next time with a couple of sides.

My family went wild over this recipe even after I made the low-fat substitutions that Luv2Cook2 said she made. Also, I used split breasts with the bone in and removed the skin because this was what I had on hand. I doubled the spices so I would have enough. Then browned the chicken in a large cast iron skillet sprayed with olive oil. I then covered the skillet and put it in a 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. After the breasts were done, I added 1 cup of fat-free Half and HAlf (doubled that ingredient too) and finished it off on top of the stove. My sauce was maybe not as thick as it would have been with heavy cream, but it was delicious over the chicken and rice I served along with it. The chili powder flavor was delicate and not too strong. We were very pleased with the delightful flavor of this recipe. I will be making this again and next time I will use the boneless breasts because it will be quicker to make. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe.

Most excellent! This recipe was husband and kid approved! There was just a right amount of spice and I added a pinch of cayenne for a "little extra".

I was looking for something different to serve to company and tried this. Everyone LOVED it. I ate it for lunch the rest of the week wraped in a tortilla with some salad and the wonderful sauce on top. My only change for next time will be to make more sauce!!

Bless you, Luby. You've made me the happiest woman today. I made this dish for dinner tonight. 4 people and 2 cats went nuts over it! So so easy. I can't thank you enough for posting this one.

Pretty darn good! BF had it frozen/thawed and said he can't wait to try it fresh with more sauce (he likes it saucy!). I paired this with Mille's Divine Carrots #27883. I'll try this again, increasing the cream/butter amount, and then call my cardiologist...

I was very pleased with this. It was highly flavorful in a unique way. I cut back on the cream a little, just to reduce the calories. I'll use this one agian.
