Very tasty! Very moist! Very easy!
Just did the recipe again and didn't have any mild chilli powder (was giving to my 2 and 8 yr old so didn't want it too hot) so I substituted cajun spice mix; it was fantastic! We, including my children, absolutely loved it! Can't fault it, my hubby and I also love it done with chilli. For a quick, store cupboard recipe it tastes amazing. Thank you for posting :-)
What a great dish!! Super simple, quick and delicious. DH is not a big fan of chicken, but he declared this to be a favorite. Another thing I loved about it is that I had all ingredients on hand, except I used half and half instead of cream... but still it turned out perfect!! Thanks Luby.
Wow! Awesome. Very good. A tad spicy for my 4 year old. I used half and half since I didn't have heavy cream. The sauce goes fantastic with rice. Thanks!
We LOVED this! I did add some cayenne, and was glad I did. We had three huge boneless chicken breasts that I cut in half, so they were thick, but smaller. I didn't add any salt, and it really didn't need it. I cut the butter in half and used extra virgin olive oil for the rest of the oil. Served it with scalloped potatoes, fresh steamed carrots, and broccoli with a little lemon. It was an amazing dinner!
this recipe was amazing and so easy! I added onions to the pan and cooked them down with the sauce, and it was great! I also made an Alfredo sauce with the original sauce recipe, I just added Parmesan and more butter.
I made this recipe last night for dinner using chicken tenders, as that is what I had on hand. It was great! Next time I will reduce the salt by half, just my personal preference. Thanks for posting :)
So sorry, my family just didn't like this at all -- it had an off flavor. I did follow the recipe as written so there were no ingredient substitutions. Guess not every dish is for everyone.
YUM!! This recipe is soooo good! I made it as written, only using less chili powder due to personal preference. It smelled heavenly while cooking. Took what little leftovers there were to work, and it reheated beautifully.
Essentially perfect as is. I added a little bit of cayenne pepper, it could have used even a little more cayenne and chili powder but I chalk that up to personal preference. I used butter but not heavy cream - I substituted coffee cream (in Canada that's 18% milk fat) and the sauce thickened very nicely. Will definitely make this again.
