Delicious and a favorite with my family. The sauce is so easy. Made for Fav's of 2011.

OMG this is sooo good, and the sauce as easy as it is cannot get any better!!! Made exactly as writen and would not change a thing. I will definately make these again and double or tripple the sauce and serve with rice. Going into my Best of 2011 cookbook! Made for Spring 2011 PAC.

I get to go to Hawaii for the first time in a month, but I'm lucky enough to have an L&L restaurant where I live and this is just as good as theirs!! So glad I found this! My husband lives it and my BIL says it's the best chicken he's ever had! I ALWAYS double the sauce and it's barely enough!!!

Amy, I lived in Maui for 13 years and this recipe is the most authentic by far. This matches my recipe to the tee! Garlic salt on the chicken before breading and the Katsu sauce is perfect! I absolutly LOVE Katsu sauce. I like to pour the sauce over my two scoop rice. You NEVER get enough with your plate lunch. The only way to improve this recipe.... double the sauce! NOTE TO EVERYONE ~ Try this recipe, then come back and review it. This one needs to be number ONE in the Katsu category.

I made half a recipe of only the chicken strips. They were great. I served it with a spinach salad and Nona's Japanese Creamy Sesame Salad Dressing for dressing on the salad and on the strips. Great meal.

I'd be embarrassed to tell you how often we eat this. My husband is Hawaiian/Japanese so this has become a staple in our home. The sauce is terrific and the directions are spot on!
