Needed to make a second dish tonight because the Kadon Pika I was making was too spicy for my son. I had to adapt a bit because half my spices are still at work from a cookout, but it turned out great. I recomend bringing the onions just to the point of carmelizing for a more robust flavor. Also since I didn't have chili powder I added chipotle powder, cumin, and paprika instead.

We enjoyed this nice subtley flavored dish. It was a pleasant change. I served it over basmati rice. The sauce was wonderful on the rice, the chicken was moist and tender. Thanks for sharing.

This was good stuff. I wasn't sure if my toddler's would eat it but they gobbled it up. I've never used coconut milk before so it was different from anything we've made. I used bite size pieces of chicken breast as this is what I had in the freezer. In the last few minutes I added some cornstarch to thicken it a bit. We ate it over bulgur wheat. It was filled with flavors we love.

Wow, really sorry for the low rating, but this just did not impress. I couldn't even eat it, although others did. It was just like a yellow mess with a not-so-good smell. Maybe the problem was the coconut milk although I've used Trader Joe's brand forever and never had a problem. I think for those who don't like lots of spice/flavor, this is fine.

I agree that this wasn't as flavorful as I thought it was going to be, but it was still a good flavor. Next time I will double the seasonings and probably sprinkle some fresh coconut on top. I had the leftovers for breakfast this morning at it was awesome. It was way better the next day. I did find it a little oily so I will defeinately use have of the oil next time.

Wonderful! I loved that this was easy enough that my son could help me make this for dinner. Everyone enjoyed it. The chicken came out perfectly. This will be a standard recipe in our house from now on.

I tried this last week and was not really fond of it, I agree there was not enough coconut taste to it. I also doctored it up some after reading the other reviews, still didn't care for it, so I have finally come up with a version I like, but others may not. Will post when I get it all tweaked to my likings.

This was quick and easy, but didn't have a very rich flavor. I expected sweetness from the coconut milk and bite from the chili powder, yet it was rather bland. Sorry- it just wasn't what I expected.

Very quick and simple to make. It tasted great! I adapted the recipe by adding crushed pineapple to the coconut milk mixture. I placed the chicken on a bed of brown rice combined with black beans then spooned the sauce over it. Admittedly, it wasn't very pretty, but it tasted wonderful. Also, a great sauce to dip bread into.
