- In a heavy skillet over medium-high heat, combine drippings and flour.
- Cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute or until thick.
- Gradually add milk and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Reduce heat to low and allow to simmer 2 to 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve warm with fried chicken.
