I like to experiment with pizza and this one is a winner. I didn't have chili powder but I did have a McCormick pouch of Chili seasonings, so I used 2 teaspoons and saved the rest for next time I make this. I also didn't have any salsa, so I just diced some grape tomatoes with chopped onion, garlic, olive oil, seasoned with salt and pepper. I also experimented with a whole wheat crust. The result was delicious. I was worried the pizza would be too dry or taste too much like salsa, but the recipe amounts were perfect!

Awesome recipe! I was intending to make regular fajitas, and discovered we were out of tortillas, so I looked at this recipe! I also used the Simple Salsa recipe (128822) someone suggested and it was perfect! I only made a few changes. I used 1 tsp. cumin instead of the chili powder, omitted the regular salt and used 1/2 tsp. Lawry's garlic salt instead of the powder, reduced the onion to 1/2 c. becuase my salsa had a lot of onion, and omitted green peppers only because I didn't have them. The only addition I made was 1/2 tsp. Mrs. Dash Southwest Chipotle for a little kick. This was a delicious recipe and my family loved it. We will be making this a lot!!!

Giving this 5 stars even though I altered the ingredients. My chain-store supermarket was out of peppers(?!!) so I used 2+c. of frozen pepper/onion mixture. Put vegies in a pan to cook off excess moisture, and in w/that went a 6 oz package of southwestern-seasoned chicken strips, some chili powder, garlic powder and cumin. Used a refrigerated crust and followed the rest of the recipe as stated. DH and I both really loved it. I'm sure it's even better w/fresh ingredients, but my substitute version was terribly convenient. I'll make this again. Thanks!

What a great recipe! I was intending to take some photos for you, but unfortunately the pizza looked so good coming out of the oven, we just couldn't wait to eat it! I will do my best next time to make some photos for you. This was a very easy recipe to prepare - I made everything pretty much as directed with the exception of using freshly minced garlic and cumin in addition to the chili powder - giving it a slightly more authentic Mexican/Fajita flavor. I didn't have any salsa on hand, so I used Miss Jennifers' Simple Salsa recipe (#128822), which complimented this recipe perfectly. I served the pizza, two slices to a plate along side a dollop of sour cream topped with freshly chopped chives - presentation was excellent, flavour was delicious. This is going to be a favorite i our home for sure! I'm delighted to have come acrossed this recipe - thanks for posting!

Sharlene, this was awesome! I had never made any kind of pizza before but I love all the ingredients so figured I give it a try. It was even better than I thought it would be! I used Boboli thin crust. Can't wait to make this again! Thank you so much for posting the recipe!

Delicious flavor. We love fajitas so when I saw your pizza recipe I knew we had to try it. The flavors were spot on for fajitas. I had some tri colored peppers in my garden so it was the right time to try it. thank you for sharing a new family favorite with us.
