Thanks so much for posting this recipe! Hubby loved it! I did use Smart Balance instead of butter and used fat free chicken broth and fat free evaporated milk instead of the heavy cream. Works out to 5 points on Weight Watchers. Delish!

Yum! The whole family loved this recipe! I used leftover Thanksgiving turkey instead of chicken. For the pie crust, I used Pasty Pastry for Cornish Miners' Pasties. Very good, I will definitely make this recipe again!

This recipe is a definite keeper!! I used frozen mixed veggies, fat free half and half and refrigerated pie crusts. I had fresh tarragon, so I used it instead of the thyme. Hubby really liked this recipe!

MMMM! this is so good! I used evaporated milk & a bag of frozen mixed veggies. Also, I have a horrible time making chicken gravy and I have found that the gravy for this recipe would be perfect on it's own over potatoes! Thanks for 2 fabulous recipes!

DELICIOUS! I will NEVER buy frozen pot pie again! I also added some diced potatoes and my frozen veggies included peas, carrots, green beans & corn.

I'm not a fan of pot pies & hubby wasn't thrilled when I told him I was making Chicken Pot Pie. We were both pleased with the result and agreed this is a 'keeper' recipe. Thanks for posting. I'm now a pot pie fan!

I hate pot pies. I hated them as a kid and I've hated them whenever I've tried them as an adult. The gummy textures, the fake tastes, yuck. I also have an incredibly picky 4 year old who I have to consider when deciding what to cook. BUT for some reason I decided to try this recipe when I came across it.

Boy am I glad I did! This is WONDERFUL! Even my little girl liked it though she refused to eat the peas. I was super lazy and used the Pillsbury ready made pie crust. I can't imagine how much better it would be with a nice homemade crust.

Thank you for the wonderful new comfort food!

This is the BEST chicken pot pie recipe EVER! It wasn't hard to make and since I made my own pie crust and used fresh vegetables it was very inexpensive too. I used canned evaporated milk and used 2 fresh carrots, a potato, and 1/3 cup of frozen peas. I will be saving this recipe and will enjoy it often. Thanks windchime!

I make this every time I have leftover chicken or turkey. Everyone who has ever had it loves it. <br/>I just use regular fat free milk because I always have it in the house. I have also varied the amount of chicken & veggies depending on what I have on hand and it always turned out fine, so don't worry if you have too much or too little of either on hand!
