  1. We really enjoyed this. It was easy to prepare... I also used boneless/skinless chicken breasts. I also added some onions while it was cooking. It made the house smell so good during that hour of preparation! I will definitely prepare this again. Thanks for a great recipe!

  2. a very simple recipe that works well on a busy day. I used boneless skins chicken breasts and they were delicious.

  3. Delicious!! I used boneless, skinless, chicken breasts and did the 1/2 teas salt and 1 teas curry powder as someone suggested. I cooked it in alluminum foil in a baking dish on 400 for 1 hr as I don't trust chicken to get done with any less temp. Quick and easy!

  4. wow this was very tastey.I ended up putting 4 tablespoons margarine and 4 legs and 4 thighs. There was plenty of sauce which i added 1 tsp of curry powder and 1/2tsp.salt then sprinkling paprika into the mix.I put some on top and then the rest when i turned them over. Thanks

  5. This is a terrific recipe that I've made for years. It's great for special occasions because it's so simple to make yet tastes so wonderful. There are just a couple of differences between the way I make it and the way you do: (1) mine calls for 4 Tbs butter rather than 4 tsps, so it's richer (not to mention harder on the arteries, I'm sure), and (b) mine uses 1 tsp curry powder rather than 1 tsp salt.

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
