From The Everything Healthy Slow Cooker Cookbook
- 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 onion, quartered
- 6 ounces beer
- 1 1⁄2 cups water
- 2 garlic cloves
- Place all ingredients in a 4-quart slow cooker. Cook on low for 6 hours.
- Remove the chicken breasts and discard the cooking liquid.
This makes for a very moist chicken breast. I upped the garlic to 4 cloves and only cooked our chicken for 4 hours and it was cooked perfectly. Made for Fall PAC 2012.
